Upcoming Projects and News
4/13/12
Well, it has been a long, wet winter, but now
I am finally done with my graduate studies and starting to move into high gear with acting, film production and humanitarian work! I am very excited to be spending the weekend training with Tony Doupe in techniques for acting with the camera. I have also been doing some really cool photoshoots lately for different projects with some great photographers. Although The Ave is currently on hiatus while season one finishes post-production before we move on to season two, I have a few other fun film projects in the works, so stay tuned for those! And I am extremely excited to be on the countdown before spending a month in Kenya this July working with children as a part of the Global Roots team.
Stick around to see how it all plays out!

Wow, it has been SO long! I am fortunate in that I have been incredibly busy! Despite a few technical difficulties, The Ave is having a great first season. Continue checking back at www.findtheave.com to catch the rest of season 1, which will air throughout February. Shooting for season 2 begins soon and it promises to be an exciting season for Angela!
I have also continued to be really busy with Global Roots! If you haven't already, please check out our webpage at www.globalroots.org to see what we are up to! And if you feel so inclined, help make my trip to Kenya with Global Roots to help the children of Mtito-Andei possible by visiting my fundraising page listed in the previous update!

The Ave continues to release weekly installments and it has been so great to see each week's episode. This truly is a great crew and cast! No episode was released this past Friday due to the holidays, but that means we get not one, but TWO episodes this week! Check out www.findtheave.com tomorrow, Tuesday 11/29 for "What Could Go Right? Part II" and again on Friday for yet another episode!
In other news, I have officially kicked off fundraising for an organization about which I am truly passionate! Please, please visit www.globalroots.org to learn more about this amazing humanitarian effort! I am involved with them in a number of ways and hope to join them on a service mission to Kenya in summer of 2012. Help me make this possible by contributing to my fundraising page at:
http://sarahtoglobalrootsafrica2012.chipin.com/global-roots-africa-service-trip-2012. Anything you can contribute helps me to be able to join this trip and work towards making a difference for the children of Mtito Andei, Kenya!

Sarah Tarvin was introduced to acting as a child when her family enrolled her in classes at the local children’s theater. She continued to participate in theater both on stage and behind the scenes throughout elementary and middle school and into high school, however a move to a less theatrically inclined region put an end to her involvement during the later part of high school and through university. Moving to Seattle in late 2009 allowed her finally to return to her passion. She has been enthusiastically pursuing acting ever since. She trains with Julianne Christie and at Freehold Theater Lab. She has recently been filming for the upcoming web series, The Ave, and can’t wait to see how it progresses! When not acting, she is passionately involved with Global Roots, a non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to children, for which she is Global Outreach Manager. She challenges herself to do at least one thing every week that scares her and this leads to quite a few interesting situations! You can follow her ongoing adventures here or on twitter with @SarahTarvin.
